Saying bye to 2014.

Hello!!!

First of all, Merry Christmas (from my prince) everybody!!!

(If you are asking me why I am still with him after his news, I think you better don't ask, cus I do not have an answer.)

Nope, no christmas celebration for me because I never did have the practice of celebrating it since young. Nevertheless, thank you for the christmas gifts that I've received! I never expected to receive any christmas gifts.

So many things have happened and I must say I cannot wait for 2014 to be over in a weeks' time! If you have been following me on instagram you would've known that

1) I am 19 years old.
2) My life is actually very boring.

So to actually call this a lifestyle blog.... erm I think not. It's just a diary for me to update once every half a year lolol.

But anyway, biggest event of my life this year is to actually attend a graduation ceremony wearing the graduation robe. In secondary school I also had a graduation ceremony but we were just in school uniform. And this is actually my first time being in a graduation robe (although there is no square hat).

(Officially) graduated!!

Thank you for the people who stood by me during my 1.5 years of studying and to the people who made it not so fun, what goes around comes around.

Also, this year is the second year I get stomach infection on the very day of my birthday. 18th birthday ruined, 19th birthday ruined. On the 20th birthday I make sure I get a vaccination first.

The other day with Vinez BB at TWG. Their tea smells sooooo good and their macarons too. But their customer service a bit too high class I cannot take it. In the picture above, we were imitating this funny person that I was telling her about. Because we were in TWG (all the people there very atas), this pose was like "1..2..3..pose". Lol love doing retarded things with her.

She's the best person to hang out with because she takes super nice pictures for me.. like this:

She's definitely one of the people I wanna thank for listening to all of my stories and also definitely making for SIM life better! It's been 1 year since we met but it's like we've known each other for our whole lives because we understand and know each other so well.... you know what I mean haha. I love you my libra baby girl and many many more years to come to do all the retarded things together. I don't think I need to say anymore because you know how much I love you and how much we understand each other and how similar we feel towards matters.

Also celebrated the first 21st birthday in my clique! 

He is actually the first in our clique to turn 21! Although he finds all of us very childish (personality and the things we do) because we are 2-3 years younger than him, he always joins us in whatever we do, LOL. Who is the childish one here. And thank you 港仔 for being the joker here! Without you we wouldn't have so much laughter too. We hope our surprise to you was a memorable one and that you will remember it for life. Very honoured to get to celebrate your 21st with you! Alvin, if you are reading this, I haven't forgotten about you. Thank you for the cold jokes that sometimes nobody gets.

Also to my clique.... 7 years and counting! Thank you for the 7 years. We've all grown together as teenagers and as we reach another phase of our lives, lets continue to grow together as adults. Each and everyone of you plays an important role in this clique and I hope you all know how important you all are to each other. Not forgetting the US guys Binh and Sindhu. We miss you guys very much and we hope you all are doing well over there!

The other day when we were travelling to Jiong Ray's house for this celebration, we missed the stop and it was raining so heavily that even if we were to alight and the next stop and walk over, it wouldn't work. So we had no choice but to wait in the bus for 30 minutes before the bus travels back again. Since we had 30 minutes, we had a photoshoot in the bus. And again, thank you (#neverforgettothankthephotographer #because #thatsmyjobscopetoo) Alvin for the nice pictures and listening to our awkward and fake laughters!

Also met the girls the other day for a catch up sesh!

Wenhui is my bangs twin. We have been twins all our lives actually. Just different mothers thats all. Hanging out with them is just.... talking about rubbish stuff that doesn't make a difference in our lives, making fun of people, taking lots and lots of pictures and photobombing each other. Pictures with them are always very nice because it always look like what we call.......a family photo. HAHA.

From the last update I say I wanted to go to Korea right.... may I say that... IT IS FINALLY HAPPENING!!!! I hope everything goes well and I'll be heading there with Pris this coming April. I know its a long way to go but I just cannot wait for it!

Basically I am not gonna make any new year resolutions because I know no efforts will be made to fulfil it HAHA. But I am so gonna buy a new camera so I can update my beauty blog with nicer pictures and take nice pictures in Korea!

Hello July.

Wassup! June has been a super broke month for me cus I got no money to spend (even on a meal). It sucks being poor =((( July will also be another poor month cus June no work so no income lolol.

Firstly... let's take a moment to cry for me cause after 3 years of waiting. Kim Hyun Joong announced that he is going to to a World Tour.... NOT INCLUDING SINGAPORE!! Fml to the maximum. But company said they will be adding 5 more counties, but dk which. :'( 10 litres of tears.

Anyway Mummy just went back to China so.... :( I wish I could go to China again to acc her and also do my hair cus the best hairstylist in the world is there. And also eat a lot of food cus the for there is dirt cheap and yummy especially the Japanese Teppanyaki at the food court there omg I love. And this month is Mummy's birthday month so me and my siblings bought a Michael Kors Wallet for her. She actually wanted Salvatore but HELLO I got no income leh how to buy sia. Plus sis paid for it first soooo.... I still owe her LOL. Ok I must earn a lot of money and go to China and Taiwan and Korea next year during their Spring or Autumn =)) Hopefully. Have I mentioned I officially hate Winter. Its freezing cold. Last year I went during Winter and I couldn't do anything cus it was too cold for me to even wake up. LOL. The moment I wake up I feel like freezing to death already. Much less go shoppingggg. I don't even wana wake up. Now I understand why Polar Bears hibernate during winter lolol.

June was nothing much though. Went to gym and realised gyming is not as bad as it used to be. I used to gym in school but then there was something wrong with my nose I couldn't breathe properly once I start panting. But now it's alright~~~ Best part of the gym is.... KPOP DANCE CLASS WOOOOHOOOO! Then.... Mummy came back...... I watched Transformers 4!!! It is my 1st time watching Transformers cause I used to think Transformers was all robot and robot until my brother and Atiqah told me about it. And HAHA it was a 2.5 hrs in the theatre omg. And we went for shopping in JB. I no money to shop la my mother pay for me one. And I made a promise to myself that I will pay her back in September although she never asked me to. Then we camwhore-d a bit while waiting for my maid to be back from a date with her bf. (LOL wtf we best employer in the whole wide world got bring maid go dating with BF in another country)

2 days ago I went to back to USS after 3 weeks for a while only. I swear its a while only cus Atiqah wanted to catch Bbee but upon reaching there we realised its not our favourite bbee. So we went for the alternative to catch the boys and waited for my fave guy to be out.

Rn I only trust Atiqah's photography skills cus she take pictures in the proportions I want and she takes candid pictures! I was actually only expecting a picture with BeetleJ but he asked me where have I been (cus probably he never see me for quite long liao) then he asked a lot of questions again so we engaged in a 2 min conversation with a scolding from him lol wtf. But I was so happy when he still remembered that I was still schooling cus I told him I was preparing for exams the last time he asked me where have I been (which was 1000 months ago). Then I told him I graduated already and omg the look on his face was like.... "Congratulations you did it!!!" HAHAH omg okay sorry for the spazzing don't hate me.

And next time I am going to buy a lot and a lot and a lot of nice clothes and take picture in USS cause the backdrops are soooo beautiful!

Today... I started working!!! Okay it feels good to be earning money but I got a better job offer (dk when tho) so I might consider taking 2 PTs before settling on one... So I still got time to decide before my official graduation in 2-3 months. I still miss Sentosa tho (not the job scope). Yeah I am doing something that I like now and passing my passion on to people but really, Sentosa is still the best workplace. Like the flexibility, the people the freedom there. It's NEVER like this in all the other workplaces. I miss alll of you Sentosians. :'(

Okay thank you for reading my life. I will go to the gym to exercise for 10hrs once I get my off day. And also update my beauty blog once I got the time to sort out all my stuffs (you'll be shocked). Haha k bye.

HELLO!! I am back! 我回来了! Lolol every time say I am back I am back cus normally school time I don't blog one cus nothing happen so I have nothing to blog. And I am sure nobody wants to read about school life. Anyway.....

I GRADUATED!

HAHAHA DAM HAPPY although is Diploma only some more is private one but still.... I reached another phase of my life and bye bye school. Currently not intending to continue for a Degree cus I have been studying for... 15 years (including Nursery, K1, K2) of my life already. Now given a choice, I would like to take a break from alllll of these.

Anyway, the last time I blogged on life was about.... 3 months ago, which was during my sem break. NOW I NO SEM BREAK LIAO. During these 3 months sure a lot of things happened! Be it good or bad, all comes in a package, so here goes......

1. Universal Studios Singapore
If you've been following me on Instagram, you've would have noticed that my latest posts were at USS... and many people have been asking me if I work there (NO NO NO but I wished I did) It's cus one of HJFC people (shan't mention who) psycho-ed me into getting the season pass and TADA, hooked onto it. But I seldom go now already as compared to the past because I think people are getting bored of my posts already?! And most of the posts I upload is throwback one so if I upload it doesn't mean I went! And I seldom go out to take pictures thats why I only have USS pictures to upload... Ask me out lah hahaha.

2. Met new people (lots of 'em)
Yes, met a lot of new people at USS. Just from strangers to.... HELLO we like to watch the same shows, and there the friendship forms. Yep, of cus I met a few close ones~~~

CHRISTINE! I met her the first few times I went there and it was like..... IDK, just Hi lets watch the show together. It's damn sad she went back to The Phils already :'( Because we bias the same person and most of the times it's just the both of us spazzing together. And we have almost the same names. So if you ship us both it's basically #Christal #Crystine. I can't wait for her vacation so she'll come back here. 

ATIQAH! She was actually a friend of Christine first (they met through instagram LOL) then I met her too and got closer and BAM. Although she is a year younger than me, she gives the most matured advices and analyses! And I think we have the same temper and bitchiness and what not lololol. Makes our conversations more interesting.

HEY SAB! Baby of the group (which makes me the oldest LOL) but character wise not so baby lah, almost the same as us. She's like the same age as my brother but comparing the both of them..... *facepalm*. My brother still behaves like a 10 year old. How I met her was very special one.. its like before that I already know she is also a regular through Instagram. And one day we saw her alone in the park and then we took picture together and hahaha there you go.

3. Exams

They said Sem 5 was the easiest to cope..... IT'S THE MOST DIFFICULT. Sem 4 was 2 memorising module, 1 calculation. Sem 5 is 3 memorising, 2 calculation module. Was soooo skeptical about whether I could pass the first paper because I didn't really study for it, like I didn't memorise ANYTHING at all cus I wasn't in the mood to memorise anything and nothing was going into my brain. Then after the first paper I scared already so in 1 day I memorised the whole module from scratch.. 很厉害 hor. In the end I got the same grades for all there modules -_-

4. Gym

Anybody who knows me should know I am a super fat and extremely not sporty person. But..... after I was jobless (long story you can go read my Dayre but in short, I did nothing wrong just that the boss didn't need me anymore) I was feeling extremely frustrated for days so I impulsively sign up for gym membership. Actually is also not very impulse lah, I have been thinking of signing gym for a few months already just haven't decided on which gym. But I signed up for the one nearest to my house and I haven't regretted =)

Okay, I think that is all that happened over these 3 months? Many bad things happened too but I shan't mention it at all.. hehe. I shall find time to update my beauty blog too... got many awesome products to shareeee.

Back in 2012 when I started using this app which I got to know through a friend, I was SO SO SO skeptical because I thought no one would be interested in pre-loved items but hahahaha turns out to be the opposite. Till today, I've cleared A LOT of my stuffs but I still got a lot more to clear LOL. So fret not, someone will appreciate your pre-loved items!!

10 years later

The other day I was having dinner with my siblings and my sister asked "Have you ever wondered 10 years down the road, will we still be sitting like that together eating dinner?"

Oh btw if you followed me on Instagram(@crystaltaeyeon) you would have known that the picture above is actually an accidental shot which turned out quite nice after some filter.

So that set me into deep thoughts. How life will be 10 years later.

Will we still be living together?

Will I be doing my dream job?

Will we have our own families?

Will I even get married (most probably not)?

Will my brother still be as childish as ever?

Will I still be in contact with my current close friends?

Will there be an iPhone 15/15s?

Will there be Samsung Galaxy Note 13?

Will I get to see Kim Hyun Joong already (pls pls pls pls)?

Most importantly,

Will we still be having meals with our family?

So I thought, okay, no matter what, family is very important. My mother always say, never ever fall out with your family because of..... anything.

No matter how disgusting my brother is, I am still going to nurture him into a successful person because he is actually a very smart boy. No matter how lazy my sister is, she is still smarter than me. To be honest, my siblings are both smarter than me but both are not as hardworking as me. In other words, I am stupid =))

Usually when people asks me what I want to do in the future, especially since my course is ending soon now, I always reply "I don't know", "Not sure yet". Then I thought again, I am 19 this year already, what am I really going to do after spending so much money studying, what do I really want to do. Truth is, I really don't know T_T Am strongly against office jobs, but with my dip I can only do office job. But I am very very very strongly against it. Unless the job requires me to sit in the office and discuss on how to create new beauty products? Then I might consider, cuz thats what I am interested in (anyway my beauty blog is FINALLY up @ crystaltaeyeon.blogspot.sg).

About my life, I really don't know yet and I don't wish to think about it at all now, cuz whatever I plan, there may be obstacles along the way which might totally barricade me with what I want to do. So leh, all I want to say is.... live your life as it is now!! Don't overthink about anything, because in January when I started Sem 4, I started to think a lot on my future, what I want to do after graduation, am I going on to University. And I think think think, I do a lot of things wrongly (for example not remembering if I locked my workplace's doors after closing so I took a cab back to check after reaching home, and waiting to cross the road when the green man is already on for 1.5 minutes).

Yerpppp... So put your best foot forward and don't think about the future..... YET! Good things will come unexpectedly =))

10 years later when I look back at this post I will remember how much I have achieved and try to be satisfied with life.
